Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have been net sellers in the Indian market lately. On January 9, they sold shares worth Rs 7,170.87 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 7,639.63 crore ¹.
In terms of FII holdings, some companies have seen an increase in FII stake. For instance, *Rail Vikas Nigam* has seen a 1.92% change in FII holding, with FIIs now holding 5.05% of the company ². Other companies that have seen an increase in FII holding include *GE Vernova T&D*, *Tata Technologies*, and *Gillette India*.
It's worth noting that FII buying activity can be a positive indicator for the market, as it suggests that foreign investors are bullish on Indian stocks. However, it's essential to consider multiple factors before making any investment decisions.
